The qualified candidate will have experience designing and implementing UI/UX features and best practices for desktop and mobile applications. A keen eye for user friendly design is also an important piece of the skill set for the right person.
Responsibilities of the UI/UX Developer include:
• Develop new user-facing features ensuring modern UI/UX design principles are followed.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Angular, and SASS to develop clean, visually appealing web pages or interfaces.
• Maintain and improve web applications, optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Use and promote best practices for writing maintainable, high-quality code.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and apply relevant technologies to new projects.
• Conduct regular code reviews to improve code quality, design, and tests.
Qualifications of the UI/UX Developer include:
• Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to the job plus two (2) years of experience.
• Experience may substitute for education for up to (4) years
• 5+ years’ experience in Web UI/UX Development
• Strong knowledge of web on single-page applications
• 5+ years’ of experience with React, JavaScript, and Typescript
